Tourists often ask where is Croatia and which regions they can visit. The five major travel regions of the country are Istria, Kvarner, Dalmatia, Slavonia, and Central Croatia. If you want to travel to Croatia to see their business and economic district or the seat of the country, your destination should be in Central Croatia since this is the region where the capital city of Zagreb is located.

For those tourists who are more into the historical sites and attractions, the region of Dalmatia would be perfect since the cities of Dubrovnik and Zadar are found there.
