Administratively speaking, the whole geographical area of the country is actually divided into different counties. There are a total of 20 counties which excludes the city of Zagreb which serves as the authoritative city bringing the count of administrative divisions to 21. But travelers to this country can learn about the major travel regions of Croatia instead.
